Properties and uses: Colorless transparent orthorhombic or rhombic crystal or white powder. Easily soluble in water, soluble in liquid ammonia and glycerin, insoluble in absolute ethyl alcohol and diethyl ether. It can cause combustion or explosion in contact with reducing agent carbon, sulfur, titanium and other metal powders.
It is mainly used in producing purple flame, black powder; metal heat treatment salt bath; lamp glass, optical glass; agricultural fertilizer.
